Mountain resort, situated on the south-eastern slope of mountain Luž, about 3 km northern of village Mařenice. The settlement was originated in the 14th century at the place of former glass works. The village divides into three parts - Horní Světlá, Dolní Světlá and Mýtiny. After the World War II. the german inhabitants were displaced and the village was depopulated. The situation has improved thanks recreation. On the south-east slope of mountain Luž, under the part Mýtiny there are ski downhill routes with two ski lifts.
